WHO WE ARE: We are two pilots who have a house near BUR (~2 mi.) and offset the costs of living in Los Angeles on an aviation budget by renting out living space at the property. We are not a business and we do not collect profit - only a portion of shared living expenses and accommodations. Part-time, but permanent, residents include the feline and canine variety, so animal aversions or allergies are probably not a good mix. Sometimes it may take a couple days to return a call, due to erratic travel and work schedules. Please, leave a message and be patient for a return call--or better yet, send email. We do have an on-site manager in our absences.

Available rentals consist of a bed in a large shared-room with one floor-level day-bed, one raised bunk bed, and a pull-out trundle, if needed. This room features two large separate closets, a private bathroom, and two adjacent windows with black-out shutters for day-sleeping. Additional beds could be moved into the very large room (with an appropriate rent adjustment), if necessary, in the case of overlap during a turnover (see "terms"). A large wooden platform-loft space and semi-private bed-spaces are sometimes available in a detached structure. The rec-room common area also features a queen-sized pull-out couch-bed.

We provide a kitchenette that includes a full sink and several storage cabinets (with dishes and flatware as available), a microwave, full-sized refrigerator/freezer, coffee-maker, toaster, toaster oven and hotplate, as well as utility areas with 2 washer & dryer hook-ups/sets.
*The primary kitchen is available for very limited use, as arranged on a case-by-case basis. -
There is an additional full shared bathroom, as well as a common rec-room that opens to the backyard and features a work-desk and computer with hard-wired high-speed internet, TVs, stereo, and VCR/DVD set-up.

An additional lounge/study room is frequently available for additional studies/privacy. The detached structure also houses a full and functioning set of home gym equipment.

The yard areas are available for use (barbeques, etc.) and contain several fruit trees (lemon, grapefruit, etc.) to which you are welcome. We live directly across the street from a nice public park with a jogging trail, basketball court, and sports fields and well as food vendors, barbeques and picnic tables. We offer a couple of bicycles for use if desired, but we take no responsibility for ongoing maintenance or security; accordingly, they may need some repair to get 'em moving. If you have a vehicle, there is plenty of street parking.
